The Story Behind Wistful Whims
Some journeys begin with a plan. Mine began with a pause.
After embracing motherhood and stepping away from my corporate career, life took me in a completely new direction. What initially felt like a break from my professional journey slowly became an opportunity to reconnect with a part of myself that had been waiting to be rediscovered — my creativity and my love for beautiful spaces.
With a deep-rooted passion for interior designing, colours, textures, fabrics and the little details that transform a house into a home, I found myself wanting to create and curate things that brought warmth, character and joy into everyday living.
And so, Wistful Whims was born.
What began as a small dream and a creative pursuit has, over the past three years, grown into something far more meaningful than I could have imagined. Every collection I curate, every home I get to be a small part of, and every message from a happy customer reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.
As I complete three beautiful years of Wistful Whims, my heart is filled with immense gratitude.
Gratitude for my family, who believed in me and stood by me through every step.
For my customers, whose love, trust and encouragement have given this little dream its wings.
And for my near and dear ones, who have supported, encouraged, shared, recommended and celebrated Wistful Whims along the way.
Without your love and support, I wouldn't be where I am today.
These three years have taught me that sometimes, stepping away from one path gives you the courage to discover another — one that feels more personal, more fulfilling and truly your own.
Wistful Whims is not just a brand to me. It is a reflection of my journey — from a corporate professional to a mother, and from rediscovering my creative side to building something I deeply love.
As I look ahead, I carry with me the same excitement, curiosity and love with which this journey began.
